This cookie jar continues the series of tin packages conceived and designed by 2 talented Florentine illustrators, Simone Massoni and his wife Ilaria Falorsi, and represents Tuscany as we see it at the Antonio Mattei biscuit factory.
Starting from the idea of a geometric grid typical of maps, just a few iconic monuments of Tuscany have been highlighted. These internationally recognised landmarks stand along side the two main entrances of the biscuit factory, the historic Biscottificio in Prato and the brand new Florentine Bottega Museum. Finally, There is also an excellent stroller, Antonio Mattei, founder of the Biscuit factory way back in 1858 and for the occasion an almost involuntary tourist with his vintage walking cane in wonderland.
The pink color recalls the breathtaking sunsets that can be enjoyed from the beaches on the coasts of Versilia to the peaks of the Apuan Alps.
