    Amedei’s Crus come from defined production areas, since they are the result of a particular climate and sunshine in specific regions, just like grapes. Thus, each of them carries its own individual characteristics and distinctive flavor and can be considered as the most immediate, “wildest” expression of their cocoa beans. Each variety represent a part of the currently existing genetic diversity of cocoa plants, as they are all obtained from the beans that best retain the characteristics of each tree type, selected and grown to precise standards by the producers in their countries of origin. The beans of this chocolate come from Ecuador. Its crisp cracking sound marks the start of a surprising journey into taste, with reminiscences of the forest, the flavour of pistachio and accents of exotic fruits.

  • Pigna the product is characterized by Mondi dried figs, placed to “mutual contrast”, contributing to the
    “Architectural composition” of the dome. They are held together by extrdark chocolate , enriched with hazelnuts “la tonda di Giffoni” and pine nuts. Production is limited to just 500 pieces,which are all numbered.

  • The delicate Santomiele fig is packed between natural Fiumara wood canes, hence the name Le Canette – Canetta. The canes are harvested in January, dried in the sun and cut into several parts, used as a zero environmental impact package.
